Complete New Smile
Losing a large number of teeth can affect all areas of your life. It may be impacting on your confidence or you may have had to narrow your diet to be able to eat comfortably. You may also find that your remaining teeth are starting to drift and that you’ve become more prone to aches and pains around your jaw, head, neck and shoulders. Don’t suffer in silence. There are options available through Spring Grove Clinic to help you enjoy a complete new smile and address all of these problems.
- Replace your missing teeth with fixed or removable restorations
- Smile, laugh & live with confidence in your complete new smile
- The potential to last a lifetime
- 0% or low-interest finance options available
The treatment we recommend to give you a complete new smile will depend on the condition of your teeth and how many natural teeth you have left. We will always do everything we can to save your natural teeth if possible.
To give you a new smile, we might recommend implant-retained dentures, a bridge, or multiple implants. Some people need a combination of treatments such as root canal work and crowns on their remaining teeth and then one or more restorations. The best way to find out what would be right for you is to come in for an initial consultation to discuss your options and get our honest advice.

FAQ's
Dental implants have several distinct benefits, both as single implants or as multiple implants. When we place a dental implant, we only need to work at the site of the missing tooth, leaving your neighbouring healthy teeth untouched. This is in contrast to a dental bridge, where often we have to file down the teeth on either side of the gap left by a missing tooth to create a pillar on which to anchor the bridge.
One of the many downsides of tooth loss is that, without a root to send important signals to your jaw bone, the bone itself can become weak and start to disintegrate where the root is missing. Eventually, bone loss can lead to future tooth loss, drifting teeth and a misaligned bite, a change to your underlying facial structure making you look much older, and even problems with your speech. One of the reasons that people need to have the fit of their dentures adjusted over time is because of bone loss.
When we place a dental implant, however, the bone responds to its presence by regenerating and keeping everything functioning as it should.
You won’t know initially, but you can trust us to know and to give you clear, honest advice that takes into account things such as timescales, your lifestyle and your budget. We usually try to present a few different options so that you have as much choice as possible. Just rest assured that we will do everything in our power to protect your remaining natural teeth, and to give you the most long-lasting and effective solutions.

When we place dental implants, it’s done under local anaesthetic, so you shouldn’t feel anything at all during the procedure. Most patients tell us that having a dental implant put in is far more comfortable than having a tooth taken out.
As the implant goes into your gum and jaw bone, you will experience some discomfort after the procedure, but this can usually be managed well with pain medication. We will give you thorough aftercare instructions to help minimise any problems and are only a phone call away if you have any questions.
How long your treatment takes will depend on your individual case. If we need to take steps to get you orally fit first, this would be built into your treatment plan. We’ll give you a good idea of time frames before you confirm that you want to go ahead.
In most cases, we will create a temporary restoration for you to wear until your treatment is complete. This should restore your smile and help you go about your everyday life without feeling self-conscious.
Again, the cost of your treatment will depend on what you need to have done to achieve a complete new smile. We are always completely transparent about pricing and will give you a full breakdown of the proposed costs of your treatment before you confirm that you want to go ahead. We offer a choice of 0% or low interest finance options to help you spread the costs of your treatment and make the most of your budget.
